Paste your XML or Shopify feed URL into Adly. Design one branded template. Every product in your Meta catalog gets a high-converting, on-brand image automatically, with live prices, sale badges, and real inventory data baked in.
When Meta pulls your raw feed, it uses whatever image is in g:image_link. That is usually a plain white-background studio shot, identical to every competitor running Advantage+ catalog ads in your category.
Brands that ship branded catalog images consistently see higher CTR because the creative does the differentiation work before the algorithm even optimizes placement.
How Adly Catalog Studio works: You paste your existing Meta-compatible product XML or Shopify feed URL into Adly. Adly clones the catalog and parses every product field, including g:price, g:sale_price, g:title, g:custom_label_0, and the product image. You design one master template in a drag-and-drop editor, mapping those feed fields to text layers, price badges, and background treatments. Adly renders the template across your selected products, removes messy backgrounds automatically, and outputs a single live feed URL. You paste that URL into Meta Commerce Manager as your data source. From that point, every time your source feed updates prices or stock, Adly syncs the data and your catalog images reflect the change without any manual redesign.
The Workflow
Every step below maps directly to what you do inside Adly Catalog Studio. No developer required. No image editing software.
Open Brand Power inside Adly and go to the Catalog Studio tab. Paste your feed URL directly into the connect field. Adly accepts any Meta-compatible XML feed, including Shopify's built-in feed at /collections/all.atom or a custom feed at any public URL.
Adly parses the feed on the spot and shows you a live product count with field detection. You can see which attributes came through cleanly: g:price, g:sale_price, g:title, g:brand, g:custom_label_0 through g:custom_label_4. If a field is missing or malformed, Adly flags it before you design anything.
This step takes under two minutes for most feeds.
You choose which products or categories receive the branded treatment. Products you leave unselected stay in the live feed with their original photos. This matters because you can prioritize your bestsellers, seasonal items, or any segment with a high-margin opportunity without redesigning your entire catalog at once.
Adly shows a thumbnail grid of your parsed products so you can spot-check image quality and flag any items with broken or low-resolution source photos before rendering.
Pick one reference product from your feed and open the visual template editor. Adly generates a starting look from your brand colors, logo, and a short brief. From there you work in a drag-and-drop canvas with real layers.
The background layer uses Adly's automatic background removal on the product image, so every item gets a clean, consistent presentation regardless of how the original photo was taken.
Add text layers and bind them to feed fields. A price layer bound to g:price will display the correct price for every product when Adly renders the template. A title layer bound to g:title truncates automatically at your chosen character limit. You can set custom fonts, colors, sizes, and positions for each layer independently.
This is where the template earns its keep. Adly lets you add badge layers with conditional visibility rules tied to feed field values. The badge only renders when the condition is true for a specific product.
For example: show a "SALE" badge only when g:sale_price is present and lower than g:price. Show a "Best Seller" badge only when g:custom_label_0 equals "bestseller". Show a discount percentage badge calculated from the price difference.
Products that do not meet the condition render cleanly without the badge. No blank space, no broken layout.
Before committing to a full render, Adly previews your template across a random sample of your selected products. You can scroll through and catch any edge cases: a product title that runs too long, a price format that breaks the layout, or a product image that needs a different crop.
Adjust the template, preview again, and when it looks right across the sample, trigger the full render. Adly processes all selected products in the background.
Once rendering is complete, Adly gives you a single output feed URL. This URL is a valid Meta product feed that contains all your original product data, with the image fields replaced by your newly designed catalog images.
Go to Meta Commerce Manager, open your catalog's data sources, and replace the existing source URL with the Adly feed URL. Do not add it as a second source with the same product IDs. Meta will pick up the new images on its next scheduled crawl, or you can trigger a manual refresh.
From this point, when your source feed updates prices or marks items out of stock, Adly syncs on your chosen schedule and the catalog images update automatically. The designed look persists. Only the data fields change.
Conditional Logic
Set a rule once in the template. Adly evaluates it against every product in your feed at render time and on every sync.
g:sale_price < g:price
g:custom_label_0 = "bestseller"
discount% >= 30
g:availability = "in stock"
Output Examples
Each image below was generated by Adly from a product feed with dynamic field mapping. Same template, different product data.
The Adly output feed is a valid Meta product feed. It carries the same product IDs, titles, prices, availability, and descriptions as your source feed. The only difference is the image field, which now points to Adly-designed images instead of your raw product photos.
Why it matters
"We had 800 products in our Meta catalog and every single one showed the same white-background photo. After connecting the feed to Adly and running the template, our catalog images finally looked like our brand. The CTR difference was visible in the first week."
Meta's Advantage+ catalog system picks which product to show each user based on browsing signals. The algorithm handles placement and audience. The creative, the image in g:image_link, is entirely your responsibility.
Adly Catalog Studio is the tool that closes that gap without requiring a designer for every product or a developer to build a feed transformation pipeline.
Once your catalog images are live, you can turn product images into videos for Reels and Stories placements, or use Adly's AI landing page generator to build a high-converting destination for users who click through from your catalog ads.
Catalog Studio works alongside Adly's full marketing stack. After your catalog images are live, you can post to Meta automatically for organic content, or explore how to design AI ads that don't look like everybody else for your broader paid creative. For multi-product promotions outside the catalog feed, Adly's Instagram carousel generator lets you build product sets as organic or paid carousel posts.
Solo unlocks the full Catalog Studio workflow with feed connection, template design, conditional badges, and the live output URL for Commerce Manager. Growth and Pro plans lift the designed-product count and monthly render allowances for larger catalogs. Start with Adly and open Brand Power to find Catalog Studio.
See it in motion
Adly's product rendering pipeline removes backgrounds, applies your brand template, and overlays dynamic data in one pass. Here is an example of the output quality across different product categories.
The same rendering quality applies to your Catalog Studio template. Every product in your feed gets the same clean, branded treatment at scale.
Connect your product feed, design one template, and let Adly handle the rest. Your Meta catalog images update automatically every time your prices or inventory change.
