Adly AI / Features / LinkedIn scheduler
Queue a month of LinkedIn posts. Approve every one before it goes live.
Adly AI creates your LinkedIn images, multi-image posts and videos from your brand context, holds each one for your sign-off, then publishes it to your connected profile at the slot you picked. You stop opening LinkedIn at 8:30 to post by hand.
Updated October 18, 2026. LinkedIn publishing is included on every Adly plan, from Spark at $19 a month.

The short answer
What does Adly's LinkedIn scheduler do?
Adly AI is an all-in-one AI marketing platform for businesses and agencies, and its LinkedIn scheduler turns approved content into posts that go live on your connected LinkedIn profile at the time you choose. You can schedule a single image, up to 9 images in one post, or one video. Every post moves through the same gates: Adly creates the design from your brand context, you approve or revise it, Adly writes the caption, you approve or revise that, and only then do you publish now or pick a date and time. Scheduled and published posts sit in the Posts inbox, and the Calendar shows the whole week so gaps are obvious before they happen. LinkedIn publishing is included on every Adly plan, starting with Spark at $19 a month, and the same approved post can also go to your connected Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or X accounts.
Run order
Five gates between an idea and a live LinkedIn post
Adly starts at the creative, so the queue only ever holds finished work you have signed off. That is the difference between a calendar that looks full and a calendar that actually publishes.
Run your first post- 01
Brief or idea
Describe the post in a sentence, or pull it from your weekly idea plan. Adly already holds your brand colors, tone and products from the brand profile, so there is no prompt writing.
- 02
Design review
Adly produces the image, the image set or the video. Approve it, or ask for changes in plain words: bigger headline, swap the photo, tighten slide 3.
- 03
Caption review
Adly writes the LinkedIn caption to match the approved design. Edit it, approve it, or ask for a new angle. This is the moment to check the hook and the line breaks.
- 04
Schedule
Pick the LinkedIn profile plus any other connected accounts, then publish now or choose a date and time. The post lands on the Calendar.
- 05
Published
At the slot, Adly publishes directly to LinkedIn. Your Posts inbox shows what is scheduled and what has already gone out, so you can confirm the week without opening LinkedIn.
Setup
Connect LinkedIn and prove the loop with one post
Three moves. Skip the third and you will find out about a connection problem on the morning a launch post was due.
Connect LinkedIn to the brand
In Adly, open the brand you post for and connect LinkedIn from its social connections. You approve access on LinkedIn's own authorization screen, so your LinkedIn password stays with LinkedIn.
Check whose name the posts will carry
Posts publish to the LinkedIn profile you connected. If the founder's voice is the point of your LinkedIn presence, connect the founder's profile while the founder is at the keyboard.
Run one post end to end before you batch
Take a single post through design, caption and schedule, set it 15 minutes out, and watch it appear on LinkedIn. Once it lands, queue the rest of the month with confidence.
Formatting
Will it look right in the feed? Check these before you approve
LinkedIn shows a few lines of your caption, then cuts to "...see more". On a phone that cut arrives earlier than on a laptop. A caption that reads well in a draft box can land as one gray block. Adly's caption step shows the approved design and the caption together, so read it there the way a follower will.
We spent the last quarter rebuilding onboarding from scratch after watching new accounts stall on the same screen, and here is everything we changed, what broke along the way, and what we would ...see more
New accounts kept stalling on the same screen.
So we rebuilt onboarding.
Here is what changed ...see more
Before you tap approve
- The hook finishes inside the first two lines on a phone.
- One idea per line, with a blank line between blocks.
- No asterisks or underscores for emphasis. LinkedIn shows them exactly as typed.
- Two or three hashtags, placed at the end.
- The headline on the image is readable at thumb size.
- Multi-image posts: image 1 states the promise, the rest share one layout and are numbered.
- Videos carry on-screen captions, since plenty of people scroll with sound off. Adly's caption mode adds them to a finished clip.

Formats
What you can queue for LinkedIn
B2B feeds reward clarity. A feature launch reads best as one image with one line. A playbook reads best as a numbered image set. A founder explanation reads best as a short captioned video.
| Format | Per post | Build it in Adly with | Check before scheduling |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single image | 1 image | Announcement, product sale or before and after designs | One message, headline legible on a phone |
| Multi-image post | Up to 9 images | Tips carousel for step-by-step and educational slides | Image 1 carries the hook, numbered slides, consistent layout |
| Video | 1 video | UGC video, product studio, or Scene Studio for multi-scene stories up to about 60 seconds | Captions on, the point lands in the opening seconds |

Cadence
Build a cadence you can keep for a whole quarter
LinkedIn consistency usually breaks in one place: a post sitting unapproved on the morning it was due. The fix is a fixed set of slots and a queue that runs two weeks ahead.
Pick your slots once
Choose two or three weekday times when your audience is at work, then reuse them every week. After a month, check your LinkedIn post analytics and move a slot only if the numbers point that way.
Fill the week from a plan
Adly's Idea Generator drafts a week of on-brand post ideas and turns each one into a Creator job. If blank pages are the bottleneck, start with the social media content ideas generator.
Let Automations cover the baseline
Adly prepares free weekly post ideas and holiday creatives for each brand. Approve each from email with one tap, or let them publish directly to the networks you pick under "Automations post to", LinkedIn included.
Read the Calendar every Monday
Every scheduled post sits on the week view. An empty Thursday shows up on Monday, while there is still time to fill it.
A founder-led B2B week, as a run sheet
| Day | Slot | Post | Format |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tuesday | 08:30 | Lesson from a customer rollout | Single image |
| Wednesday | 12:00 | 5-step setup playbook | 6-image post |
| Thursday | 08:30 | Founder explains this month's release | Captioned video |

Approvals
How a LinkedIn post gets signed off in Adly
Every post created in Adly passes two checkpoints before it reaches the LinkedIn queue. First the design: the image, image set or video is shown for approval, and you either approve it or describe the change you want. Then the caption: Adly writes copy for the approved design, and you approve it, edit it or request another angle. Only after both checkpoints do you pick accounts and a time. For the free weekly ideas from Automations, each brand chooses between one-tap approval from email and direct publishing to the networks it selects. Founders who want a final look at anything carrying their name keep email approval on. Teams with a settled weekly format can switch to direct publishing and review the Calendar instead. Either way, the Posts inbox lists what is scheduled and what has published, so nothing goes out unseen.
Running LinkedIn for several clients
Keep each client as its own brand in Adly, with its own brand profile, connected accounts and calendar. Approvals stay per brand, so one client's Thursday post never waits on another client's feedback. On Growth and higher, multi-brand jobs let you run one creative across many brands at once.
Approving from your phone
On Solo and higher, Adly in WhatsApp gives you a private chat with Adly on your existing account. Ask for a post by text or voice note, approve the design and then the caption with buttons, choose LinkedIn and any other connected accounts, then publish now or schedule. Nothing goes out until you tap Yes on a confirm card that names the accounts and the time.

Beyond LinkedIn
One approved post, every channel you run
LinkedIn usually sits next to Facebook and Instagram in a B2B mix. When you schedule in Adly you can select several connected accounts at once, so the same approved creative goes out on the same day without rebuilding it. For the Meta side of the week, see automated Meta and Instagram post scheduling and the walkthrough on how to post to Meta automatically.
