Can you post to TikTok and Instagram at the same time?
Yes, with one tool connected to both accounts. In Adly AI, you connect TikTok and Instagram once, approve your video and its caption, tick both accounts, then publish now or pick a time. Both posts go out together. TikTok and Instagram publishing are on every Adly plan, starting with Spark at $19 a month (as of October 2026).
Short version
Connect both accounts once per brand. For each post, make or pick a vertical video, approve it and its caption, tick TikTok and Instagram, then publish or schedule. Everything you scheduled sits in one Calendar.
The workflow in Adly, step by step
Step 1 happens once per brand. Every post after that runs through steps 2 to 6.
Connect TikTok and Instagram to your brand
In the Adly app, connect your TikTok account and your Instagram account to the brand you post for. Instagram connects through Meta, the same connection Adly uses for Facebook.
Run several brands? Each brand keeps its own connected accounts, so posts never land on the wrong profile.
Make the video, or pick one you already have
Create it in Adly's Creator: a spoken UGC video with an actor, a product studio clip, an animated still, or a multi-scene commercial in Scene Studio, which builds up to 6 scenes and about 60 seconds. When the mode offers a format choice, pick 9:16 vertical. A design or video already in your Brand Library works too.
From Adly's showcase: a spoken UGC style video in which a presenter explains how an AI marketing tool creates content from business directions. Approve the design, then the caption
Adly works in two approvals. First you approve the video or ask for changes. Then Adly writes the caption, and you approve it or ask for a revision.
Nothing moves to publishing until both are approved. Adly never posts blind from the Creator.
Tick TikTok and Instagram together
On the publish step, select both accounts. Facebook and LinkedIn can join the same post on every plan, and X joins on Solo and up. If Facebook is part of your routine, our walkthrough on automatically publishing posts to Meta platforms covers the Meta side in detail.

Publish now or set the time
Choose publish now, or set a date and time. Every account you selected gets the post at that moment. Want extra TikTok posts later in the week as well? Adly's TikTok post scheduling capabilities handle that from the same Calendar.
Check it in the Calendar and Posts inbox
Scheduled posts appear in the Calendar for weekly planning. The Posts inbox lists what is scheduled and what has already gone live, so both apps sit in one view.
Your first joint post fits in one sitting.
Connect TikTok and Instagram in AdlyWhat each app receives from one Adly post
One approval, two destinations. The table shows how the same piece of content lands on each side.
| You approve | TikTok gets | Instagram gets |
|---|---|---|
| A video | A TikTok video post | A feed video post |
| An image or design | A TikTok photo post | A feed image post |
| A Story | Feed posts only | A Story (Facebook too) |
| Timing | Now, or your scheduled time | The same time when scheduled together |
| Tracking | Calendar and Posts inbox | Calendar and Posts inbox |

Designs count too. Adly sends a still image to TikTok as a photo post and to Instagram as an image post, so you can post to both apps before you make any video.
Writing one caption that reads well in both apps
Your caption is approved before anything goes out, so this is the moment to shape it for two audiences. Ask Adly for a revision until it passes these checks:
- The first line carries the point of the video. As of October 2026, both apps can shorten a longer caption in the feed until someone taps to read more, so the opening line usually does the most work.
- The caption describes what is in the video in plain words, so it still makes sense if someone watches with the sound off.
- Hashtags are few and specific to the video, the product and the place. Generic tags add clutter in both apps.
- Every tagged handle is checked on both apps. A partner's name on Instagram can belong to a stranger on TikTok.
Caption display can change when the apps update. For the current rules, check the official TikTok Help Center and the official Instagram Help Center.
Why most posts on Adly are scheduled instead of posted live
95%
of posts published through Adly were scheduled ahead of time (Adly data, March to October 2026, 1,118 brands).
Owners on Adly plan a batch and let the Calendar post it. Across 1,118 brands, 95% of posts were set for a future time instead of being sent on the spot.
The same data shows the median brand published its first post 0 days after joining, so on the day it signed up. The median active brand published 2.4 posts a month. With TikTok in the same account list, each of those posts can reach a second app with no extra design work.
Format matters here. Single post designs make up 51% of what brands create in Adly, and video makes up 10% (Adly data, March to October 2026). Because images go to TikTok as photo posts, a design-first brand can start on TikTok right away.
What batching saves: a worked example
Take a bakery that posts 3 short videos a week to both apps. Posting by hand in each app means 6 separate posting sessions a week. Scheduling the week in Adly turns that into one sitting.
If each manual post takes about 5 minutes to upload, paste and check (our assumption), that is roughly 30 minutes a week of app switching folded into a single batch. You still spend time on the batch. You stop opening two apps six times.
For the Meta side of the same habit, see automated social scheduling for Meta and Instagram. If the hard part is deciding what to post, Adly's social media content idea generator plans a week of on-brand posts you can turn into designs or short videos.
What steady multi-account publishing looks like on Adly
مياه أكوارا is a business in Jordan that describes itself as a water desalination plant. It has used Adly since April 2026 and publishes to four accounts from it: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X.

- Designs made
- 284
- Videos made
- 46
- Posts published through Adly
- 198
- Posts per active month
- 28.3
- Made in the first 7 days
- 24
- Days to first published post
- 1
Those four accounts are what this brand selected during the counted period. The pattern carries over: one approved post, several accounts ticked at once, a steady monthly rhythm. TikTok is in that same account list.
You can see the results live, for example in one of the brand's published Instagram posts.

Which Adly plans include TikTok and Instagram publishing?
Every plan. TikTok publishing and scheduling is included from Spark upward, alongside Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. X joins on Solo and up.
| What you want to do | Plans that include it |
|---|---|
| Publish and schedule to TikTok and Instagram together | Every plan: Spark, Launch, Solo, Growth, Pro |
| Add Facebook and LinkedIn to the same post | Every plan |
| Add X to the same post | Solo and up |
| Ask Autopilot in chat to publish or schedule | Spark and up, with an active plan or trial |
| Publish from your phone with Adly in WhatsApp | Solo and up |
| Run one creative across many brands | Growth and up |
Monthly prices as of October 2026: Spark $19, Launch $29, Solo $49, Growth $119. Pro serves scale teams with higher limits and dedicated success support.
Every plan has a monthly usage limit that covers images, text, video and landing pages, renewed each month on an active subscription.
Who this is for, and what it replaces
For a small business owner, it replaces uploading the same clip twice and retyping the caption in a second app. For a social media manager, it replaces the pairing of a design tool with a separate scheduler, because the video is made, approved and scheduled in one account.
If price is your deciding factor, our page comparing affordable social media scheduling tools lays out the options side by side.
Posting from a chat instead of the dashboard
Prefer typing to clicking? Autopilot, Adly's in-app assistant, can publish or schedule approved content to every connected network, TikTok and Instagram included.
Owners who run their day from WhatsApp can use Adly in WhatsApp on Solo and up. Ask for a post by text or voice note, approve the design and caption with buttons, pick Instagram, TikTok or other accounts, then publish now or schedule. Nothing goes out until you tap Yes on a confirm card that names the accounts and the time.
Four mistakes that spoil a two-app post
Choosing a Story and expecting it on TikTok
In Adly, Stories go to Instagram and Facebook. TikTok receives feed posts, so plan a feed version whenever TikTok matters for that piece.
Making a horizontal video for two vertical feeds
Scene Studio asks for 9:16 or 16:9 before you build. Pick 9:16 when TikTok and Instagram are the destination. Changing shape after the fact is extra work.
Cross posting a saved TikTok to Instagram
As of October 2026, a video saved from the TikTok app can include a TikTok watermark. Use your original file or the video you made in Adly, then send that clean version to both accounts.
Saving and download behavior can change, so check the official TikTok Help Center for the current rules.
Tagging a handle that differs between apps
The same business can use different handles on each app. Check every mention on both sides before you approve the caption. How tags and mentions work in each app is covered in the official Instagram Help Center and TikTok's own help pages.
The call: should you run both apps from Adly?
If you already make short videos or designs and post them to TikTok and Instagram by hand, move that job into Adly. Connect both accounts, schedule next week in one sitting, and check it in the Calendar.
Spark at $19 a month covers TikTok and Instagram. Choose Solo at $49 if you also want X or want to publish from WhatsApp (prices as of October 2026). The trade-off is planning: the time saved comes from batching, so it pays off most when you sit down once a week.
Schedule your first TikTok and Instagram postQuestions people ask before cross posting
How do I cross post a TikTok to Instagram?
Start from your original video file or the video you made in Adly. A copy saved from the TikTok app can carry a watermark. Approve it in Adly, tick TikTok and Instagram, and publish or schedule.
Can I post to TikTok, Instagram and other networks at the same time?
Yes. One Adly post can go to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn on every plan, and to X on Solo and up.
Can I post photos to TikTok from Adly?
Yes. Images publish to TikTok as photo posts, and videos publish as TikTok videos.
Which Adly plan do I need for TikTok and Instagram?
Any plan. TikTok and Instagram publishing and scheduling are included from Spark, which costs $19 a month as of October 2026.
Does Adly post anything without my approval?
In the normal workflow, no. You approve the design, then the caption, then choose publish or schedule. Weekly Automations post directly only to the networks you choose for them.
Where do I see what is scheduled?
In the Adly Calendar and the Posts inbox, which list both scheduled and published posts across your connected accounts.
