What an AI agent needs to do your marketing

2026 is the year assistants became agents. Meta launched Muse, OpenAI launched dots, Anthropic has Cowork, xAI has Grok Bot, Google has Gemini Spark and Manus launched Cue. They share one idea: you give a goal, and the agent keeps working on it, on its own computer in the cloud, until it has something for you to approve.

An agent can plan a content calendar and write a caption. To deliver a finished post it needs three more things: your brand kit, a way to produce the design or video, and permission to publish to your pages. Adly is that part. Adly is an AI marketing platform with its own MCP server, so an agent that can use MCP can create and publish through your Adly account.

Each agent connects in its own way, and they are not all available in the same countries. This page keeps the list in one place, with a guide for each.

How an agent works with Adly

Whichever agent you use, the work goes through the same steps you would follow in the Adly app:

1. Pick the brand. The agent searches your brands and selects the one you mean.
2. Create a job. A design, a tips carousel, a design around a product photo or a video.
3. Wait for it. Designs take a short while and videos take longer. The agent checks the job until the result is ready, then shows it to you.
4. Approve the design. Or ask for an edit in plain words. After approval Adly writes the ad copy.
5. Approve the copy and publish. Post now or schedule for later, on the networks you choose.

Every job also appears in the Adly app, so you can step in there at any point.

Which agent should a small business pick?

Start with the one you already use. The Adly side is the same for all of them.

• You use Claude. The connector works today. Use a normal chat for single requests and Cowork for weekly, scheduled work.
• You use ChatGPT. Install the Adly plugin. If you are on Pro or Business Premium, your dot can use it too.
• You are in the US or Canada and live in WhatsApp. Muse is built for that, and it connects to Adly with one message.
• Your audience is on X. Grok plans around X, and Adly publishes to X on Solo and up.
• You are in an Arab country. Claude with Adly MCP works today. Muse is not available yet. See Meta Muse availability.

One account behind every agent

All agents reach the same Adly account. Your brands, your brand kit, your connected social accounts, your scheduled posts and your usage limit are shared, so moving from one agent to another loses nothing.

Generate a separate key for each agent and give each key a clear label. If you stop using an agent, you revoke its key in Adly under Profile, then Adly MCP, and the others keep working.

What is MCP?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard AI agents use to call outside tools. An MCP server lists the actions it offers, and the agent calls them when your request needs them. Adly’s MCP server offers the actions you already have in the Adly app: choose a brand, create a design or video, approve it, write the copy, publish or schedule.

Where Adly can publish

Adly publishes to five networks:

• Facebook: the Facebook Page you connected. Posts, carousels, videos and Stories.
• Instagram: business or creator accounts. Posts, carousels, videos and Stories.
• TikTok: the TikTok account you connected. Video posts and photo posts. Stories are not supported on TikTok.
• LinkedIn: your connected personal profile. Posts with a design, video or images.
• X: the X account you connected, on Solo and up. Links are removed from posts to X.
