What Meta Muse is, and where Adly fits

Muse is the personal AI agent Meta launched on 8 September 2026. Meta describes it as an agent that does the work instead of only answering questions. It runs on its own secure computer in the cloud, keeps working after you close the app, and reaches other services through what Meta calls Connectors. You talk to it in the Muse app, on muse.ai or in WhatsApp.

Muse is a general agent: it plans, researches, drafts and follows up. Adly is the marketing studio it can call. Adly keeps your brand kit, builds designs on your logo, colors and contact details, makes tips carousels, product ads and short videos, writes ad copy in Arabic or English, and publishes to the accounts you connected.

Adly is not in Muse’s connector directory yet. Muse has a second route: ask it to create a Custom Connector for a service you use, and it builds one. Adly runs an MCP server for exactly this kind of connection, tied to your Adly account, your brands and your usage limit. The message further down this page is all Muse needs.

The message to send Muse

Copy this message and send it to Muse as it is. Your key is not in it: Muse asks for the key separately.

Create a custom connector for Adly, my marketing design and publishing tool.

Adly has a remote MCP server at https://getadly.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0).
Sign in with an API key sent as a header: Authorization: Bearer <my Adly MCP key>
Do not use OAuth for this server.
Ask me for the key securely and keep it in your credentials store. Never show the key in our chat.

After connecting, list the tools, then call list_brands with my business name and select my brand.
From then on, use Adly whenever I ask for a design, a carousel, a video, ad copy, or to publish or schedule a post.
Show me every design before you approve it, and ask me before you publish or schedule anything.

Meta does not review custom connectors or how they use your information. This one connects Muse to your own Adly account, so keep the key private and revoke it in Adly if you stop using the connector.

What happens when Muse calls Adly

Muse follows the same steps you would follow in the Adly app:

1. Pick the brand. It searches your brands and selects the one you mean.
2. Create a job. A design, a tips carousel, a design around a product photo or a video.
3. Wait for it. Designs take a short while and videos take longer. The agent checks the job until the result is ready, then shows it to you.
4. Approve the design. Or ask for an edit in plain words. After approval Adly writes the ad copy.
5. Approve the copy and publish. Post now or schedule for later, on the networks you choose.

Every job also appears in the Adly app, so you can step in there at any point.

Who approves what

Two layers of approval sit between a request and a live post.

• In Muse. Meta says that by default Muse will not take many important actions without your approval, and you can adjust this in Muse’s settings. Many connectors can also be limited to read-only access.
• In Adly. Each design waits for approval before the ad copy is written, and the copy waits for approval before the post is ready. Adly tells the agent to confirm the networks, the caption and the time with you before it publishes.

If you prefer, let Muse create only and do the approving and scheduling yourself in the Adly app.

Where Adly can publish

Adly publishes to five networks:

• Facebook: the Facebook Page you connected. Posts, carousels, videos and Stories.
• Instagram: business or creator accounts. Posts, carousels, videos and Stories.
• TikTok: the TikTok account you connected. Video posts and photo posts. Stories are not supported on TikTok.
• LinkedIn: your connected personal profile. Posts with a design, video or images.
• X: the X account you connected, on Solo and up. Links are removed from posts to X.

Where Muse is available

As of 2 October 2026, Meta lists Muse as available in the US and Canada, in the Muse app for iOS and Android, on muse.ai and in WhatsApp. Meta has not announced dates for other countries. If you are in an Arab country, read is Meta Muse available in the Middle East to see what works today.

Good to know before you connect

• It is a custom connector. Adly is not an official Muse connector yet. You are connecting Muse to your own Adly account with your own key, and Meta does not review custom connectors.
• The key is the access. Anyone holding the key can create content on your brands. Revoke it in Adly the moment you stop using the connector.
• This guide follows Meta’s documentation. Muse is not available in our region yet, so we could not run these steps on a live Muse account. If a step looks different for you, write to [email protected] and we will update the guide.
